What a wonderful weekend of singing!
Two concerts in Wangaratta and Benalla with appreciative audiences.
The music chosen by our musical director, Malcolm Halford, was a real joy to perform.
Thanks to our accompanist, Margaret Phillips, who probably had to work harder than any of the singers.
Congratulations to all the singers, especially the small quartet of men who were able to balance the larger women’s sections in each of the items.
After a week off, rehearsals will resume in preparation for the next concert which will be held in August. The program again contains a variety of items including some folk songs, spirituals and sacred pieces.
